cupcakemonster's Fireworks and Sparklers.
So he does his best.
Why he does his best, he's not quite sure, but she does get her own room (conveniently close to his) and a very mini mini-fridge, and the best he can do about a pet monkey is a soft toy one, which he adds to the room as a kind of a joke.
He wants her to hang round so badly, wants her to laugh and yeah, well, light his little world up. Except he'd never admit to that. The closest he'll admit is "whoa, interesting" when a machina explodes under her hands and she falls back against him and he catches her and they both laugh.
It's good, to be with her, to laugh, like when they were kids.
