Rydia doesn't really like Eblan. The castle, anyway.
Even though it was rebuilt, it's stone and wood and everywhere feels damp and cold to her, even the bed she has, two rooms from Edge's. The sheets are cold and clammy and finally, every night, she surrenders a little and slips down to Edge's room, where it's always warm and where his body heat makes it feel good. Cosy.
She won't tell him, because then he would be hurt, maybe. Or he'd ask her why she stays, and she'd have to admit how she loves him, doesn't want to be away from him.
