He annoys her.
She stands at the door with her hands on her hips and stares at his back, willing him to realise she's there. Finally she huffs and speaks. "Gippal. Put that damn machina down and get your ass to bed. It's three in the morning."
He startles, almost dropping the machina before putting it down carefully and getting up, turning to face her with a ready grin. "What, you've been missing me too much?"
She crosses her arms in front of her chest, sticking her tongue out. "No way. I'm just worried that you're going to bitch all tomorrow that you're so tiiiiired and I should go to bed with you because you can't sleeeep without me to hang on to."
He raises an eyebrow. "Oh, really?"
"Yep."
He lunges and grabs her. "I'll show you 'hanging on to you'."
"Gippal!" she shrieks, and clings to him when he tries to sling her over his shoulder, and they'll probably wake the whole temple with their play, and neither of them care.
