Summary: She understands everything, but says nothing.


Cecil turned to watch Rosa, watched the way she fitted an arrow to the bow and drew it back, not rushed, but smooth and quick, watched her sight carefully. A gust of wind blew her hair back a little and then, without even a flicker of change in expression, she let the arrow fly.

The monster fell to the ground and she turned to look at him, her eyes gentle, questioning. He just shrugged a little, turning away from the dead monster and walking after the others.

"You look tired."

"I'm fine."

She gave him a careful look, understanding everything, saying nothing.

I like the unspoken understanding between the two of them very much. Cecil/Rosa happens to be a pairing I really don't get on well with (mostly because I don't like the characters), but I think you conveyed the degree of shared intimacy they've built very well!

Thanks! I just get this "moment in time" type images that I have to write down or they bug me. xD I don't get on with any canon romance that well (ouch, Squall/Rinoa, Tidus/Yuna) but I still sometimes get the urge to write drabbles for them.

I've nearly finished the game, and by nearly, I mean I just got the Odin summon and I'm heading for the moon now. Sooo... not making any promises, but what pairings/characters would you like me to write a drabble about should I feel the urge/get the time? ;D

Edge/Rydia I think I can do, I have something teasing at my brain for them. And something for Kain, too. I'll see what I feel like writing. :3

Hmm... I think I like most of the FFIV characters and stuff, and when I like most characters I tend to like most pairings. As for characters, I like Edge and Kain the best. ♥
