She doesn't want to, but he's been smiling at that girl again, and it comes out angry-hot and hurtful-cold all at once. She tells him to go home to the girl who smiles every night, and she goes home and daydreams of how saintlike she is for being so kind.
She misses Nino more than she thought, all his little quirks, and his warmth at night, and the way he'd wriggle to get comfortable. She misses him tickling her, she misses holding him. Getting up is boring, work is neverending, and going to sleep impossible.
She misses thinking that they're perfect.
