It's lovely how you manage to paint a picture of such a complex whirl of emotions. Gippal is angry, guilty, happy, bitter, weary, lonely, regretful, wistful and so many other things, within the space of this short piece. I think that's wonderful because real people's emotions can be that complex and unpredicatable.
I love that poor Baralai can't resist Gippal even though he protests.
I adore the final part and Gippal's fear that he will break their relationship by tinkering with it just like he breaks machina.
