The only thing more ridiculous than Zell, fresh out of bed, that Seifer has actually seen, is probably Leonhart with a bad hair day. It is a sign of approaching senility, he thinks, that he actually accidentally lets the word 'adorable' cross his mind as regards the former. It doesn't even flash across, there and then gone. It ambles. Slowly. And it has ridiculous hair.
Seifer closes his eyes. The word sits there, mocking him, so he opens them again and grabs hold of Zell and manhandles him back into bed. He even manages to roll on top of Zell before Zell's quite got with the program, which is always good. "You look," he says, more occupied in biting Zell's collarbone, in kissing up the length of his neck, "ridiculous."
Zell makes a noise that sounds suspiciously like a snort, and improbably gets a hand in Seifer's hair and takes a grip, tugging just hard enough to hurt a little. Seifer really doesn't mind that. At all. "What's that say about you, then?" he says, sleep mostly chased out of his voice by now.
"I," Seifer says, against the curve of Zell's jaw, "am great and merciful and making sure you don't die a virgin."
He gets thumped in the ribs, for that, but the angle is awkward and it's worth it anyway.

I love this. So Seifer and so Zell.
