There are no words: fine. But they've always had a language of touch and Sam uses that now. The kiss says, "I'm here," and the way he holds Dean's face in his hands, palms curving around, fingertips featherlight against his temples, says, "I'm not going to let you go again." Dean stills, silent and silent, but Sam doesn't give up, sliding closer, giving closeness, giving a warmth that is not hellfire. Dean's eyes close and Sam kisses him again, kisses him soft. "Let me," it says, "let me in, let me help," and Dean's eyes, opening, do not say no.

A lot of emotion in a small space. Nice.

Did you mean "silent and silent"? If so I think I get it. The whole piece is kind of poetic that way. I just wanted to double check.

I've just been poking around your sam/dean tag. I like how you play with gender, like their voices in "Consequences", am enjoying other stuff, will see if I can think of anything specific to say about more pieces (I'm a bit fuzzy, sorry).
