And there was Arthur, and there was Guinevere, and there was Lancelot, and for the first time the three threads wove together into a harmony that wasn't so sad. Arthur and Lancelot held Guinevere together, both of them, for the first time, and Guinevere stood between them, no longer torn, but whole, really whole.
It had all been paid for. Everything had been paid for, all their wrongs.
And there, on the boat, they were three, and they were one, and they were whole.
And, in the words Kevin Laine might have said, crying for Jennifer's departure and spilling over with joy for Guinevere's happy ever after: it was about time, too.
