Stephen looked up and laughed. "Did you? I always used to come here in spring... to see the first snowdrops, then the daffodils. They're glorious."
"I know," Will said. He pushed his hands into his pockets, looking self-conscious. "I come here all the time."
"We're more alike than we think, sometimes," Stephen said, after a moment. "Next you'll be telling me you want to join the navy and fight -- even if I've always thought of you as a pacifist."
Will just smiled, moving to sit next to his brother.
