The car is a wreck, but Bran's body is the worst thing -- twisted, pulped, bones startlingly exposed and his pale skin stained with fresh blood. The passenger side of the car is a crumpled mess: Will's clothes are splattered with blood, hopelessly torn, but he's not bleeding, not hurt at all.
Will reaches through the smashed window on the driver's side to touch Bran's cold cheek -- the only whole part of him. "Bran," he says, closing his eyes. Nothing else. Just, "Bran," horribly steadily.
By the time the next car stops beside the crumpled wreck, Will is gone.
