Larsa is sleeping. He looks more innocent still when asleep, all cares smoothed away. Vayne envies him that. He would almost say that Larsa's very sweetness, his innocence, his careless beauty, protects him from any who might come to do him harm -- even in his sleep -- if he didn't know better.

"What are you dreaming of, brother?" he asks, softly. He sits, carefully, down on the edge of the bed. Larsa stirs, rolls onto his back, but doesn't wake. Vayne rests a hand on his chest for a moment, watching, and then leans down and kisses him lightly. "Sleep well."

You always manage to not do what I expect, but still have it be enjoyable. Who knew Vayne could pull off being in something almost sweet like this?
