"Mom's going to be out tomorrow," Sora said, carefully, into the tranquil almost-silence. Riku inched closer to him, going up on an elbow to look down at his face. There was a fond smile on his face that was more or less new, and seemed to be becoming much more common.

"Are you hinting at something?"

Kairi, on Riku's other side, sounded sleepy. "Couldn't be. Sora's not good with subtlety."

"Hey!"

She sat up. "Let's think..."

Riku smiled a little bit more -- more of a smirk now. "Whatever could he be talking about?"

Sora huffed, sitting up and leaning over to poke Kairi in the stomach. "I was thinking that maybe you two could sleep over. And it'd be just us. An evening alone."

Riku laughed, reaching up to drag Sora down, closer, so that he could kiss him softly. "I guessed. What do you think Kairi?"

Kairi laughed too, stretching a bit and cuddling closer to them. "I think it sounds like fun."
