"Where are we?"
Will isn't sure if it's reverence or incredulity or fear he hears in Bran's voice. Bran's still holding onto his hand, squeezing tightly. It might be all three, and Will doesn't blame him. There's a sort of fear in this for himself, too -- it's proving to Bran that all of it really happened, that his dreams aren't just dreams, but submerged memories. And it's showing Bran exactly how different he is, showing Bran all the things he shouldn't, mustn't know.
And yet, "This is the place where you were born," he says, softly. He squeezes Bran's hand. "The place, and the time."
"I... I feel as if I remember it."
"You should've been too young, but..." Will shrugs. "Some things imprint themselves on us."
Bran lets go of Will's hand, like he's only just realised he was holding it. He pulls away from him, taking a few uncertain steps into the world and time of his birth, and Will watches him without saying a word. There's a hint of a Bran he thought gone in Bran's expression now -- shades of an arrogant prince, come into his birthright.
And yet there's still the completely human uncertainty. The doubts. The life Bran chose.
"Where else can you take me?" Bran asks, softly. He turns to Will again, his face alight. Will can't help it. He holds a hand out.
"Anywhere."
