He loved her. He knew that because she told him so, because everything she said was right, because she loved him. He would do anything for her. It was as involuntary as the way he'd bothered chickie, just something he had to do.

His day was a bad day if he didn't see her. And he could only see her in dreams she sent him, trapped as she was, using his old Matron's body while she could.

He dreamed of bringing her to him. Of standing at her side, proud. Of kissing her, of being kissed, tasting blood and death and power.

I totally don't understand this fic, but it reeks of gorgeous torture for some reason? I have no idea what he's talking about, but it's all blood and bile and gross horror. At least!! That's what I'm getting from it. *glomp* you write the best stuff.

Ooh, I'm happy to explain.

In FFVIII, one of the main characters is Seifer Almasy. He's actually a villain type person, but some people believe that he's innocent and controlled, because he becomes Knight to an evil Sorceress. The Knight is supposed to protect and stabilise his Sorceress, yet we see Seifer doing everything -- fighting, leading an army for her, taking over towns... And despite giving the impression of being a proud, arrogant asshole, throughout the game his clothes get dirty and torn and he starts to look more and more defeated. Also, his two closest friends believe that something has gone wrong.

My arc is all speculation on what the sorceress (Ultimecia) did to Seifer to (possibly) control him. :D Which involves a lot of mindfucking. :DD

:D I love FFVIII so much. The backstories, the weird timeline, the characters... Most people say the storyline isn't so good, but the characters more than make up for it. :3

Mindfucking = beyond amazing. And maybe I'm just all EASILY PLEASED and things like that, but I like all the FF series... the stories are way better than anything else. Yeehaw!
