But Squall believed. He knew that on paper, I was the best student Garden had ever seen. But in the field, I rebel.
Well, in lessons, too.
But Squall believed me past all that. I am. But only because he believes I am.
He hugs me tightly, kisses me softly, and leans against me, even smiling a little, content and happy and validated.
