He has a small wooden box. The problem is, he's never had anything to put in it. Nothing that he was supposed to put in it, anyway. It's a memory box. It holds a couple of childish drawings, drawings a parent should have kept for him. It should hold a photograph of his parents, a wedding invitation, a wedding ring. But there's nothing.
He keeps his pictures in it instead. For his parents. He never knew them, actually. But he feels as if he can hear their voices. Telling him they love him. Telling him his destiny.
