Baralai couldn't remember how many times he'd dreamed of it -- Gippal's clever, clever hands on his body, Gippal's warmth against him, fire driving away the coolness at his core, his fingers in Gippal's hair. He'd never been able to imagine the kiss, had never been able to imagine the way Gippal would look -- his one eye closed, his expression almost one of concentration, and the neediness in the way he kissed, despite all his ego, despite all his confidence. It was better than he'd imagined and at the same time disappointing -- but only because Gippal pulled away.
