Seifer hasn't visited the infirmary since Zell got sick. He's barely even been back to Garden -- he goes out all day to fight monsters, and sometimes stays out all night as well. Zell lies in the infirmary fighting off sickness, and outside, Seifer fights monsters as if he's being paid for it, as if it might help somehow. Eventually, Quistis gets concerned and reports his behaviour to the commander -- Squall, of course.
Kadowaki recommends vacation. Seifer tells her he's fine. Zell opens his eyes for the first time in a month to tell them both to shut up.
