Garnet is a queen now. She knows it, and carefully locks away anything she can't hold onto, as a queen, deep in her heart. It makes it hard to smile, some days -- but other days, it's that which makes her smile, because somewhere in her heart, Dagger is still there, still waiting, still hoping. It's not hard to imagine that it's Dagger who speaks up when speak up she must, Dagger that puts the steel in her voice when there is need for steel.
She locks the memories away deep inside, but that doesn't mean she forgets them entirely.
