Zell's teeth are gritted as he lunges forward. Seifer steps back to set Zell just off balance, raises his gunblade and slashes down. He only half sees the battleground -- the rest of it is all her, the world she's promising him, the world he'll be king of. He'll have Zell for his own then, to break, to strip down, to humiliate, to have, but for now -- for now he'll fight him. He steps forward and slashes again, catching Zell right across the face, and sending him stumbling back into Selphie's arms.
"Good, good," the sorceress praises him.
