It's the longest day of the year, so of course Selphie's planned a Garden Festival. Seifer hasn't been involved, of course, but he likes watching people mill about, bright spots of colour in their civvies instead of the usual staid uniforms. Once upon a time he'd've liked to be out there, getting involved -- maybe starting a fight or two. Now he's pretty content just to sit here, leg just barely touching Zell's, a bony chin resting on his shoulder.
"You've gone soft," Zell says, like he's reading his mind or he said it aloud, and he elbows him none-too-gently.
