Gippal eyes the moogle doll the woman is holding, warily. Women like that don't hold dolls like that for no reason, and he's pretty sure that this particular woman is bound to have a very good reason. He shifts awkwardly from foot to foot. "Hi, um, my name's Gippal, I'm looking for Rikku? I was told you'd know -- "
"My name is Lulu," she says, and he winces. He should've known, really. Somehow, he's got one of the most famous Black Mages in the world pissed off with him, and he doesn't trust her not to, if he turns tail and runs, send the moogle doll after him to bite him -- or something.
"I'm just looking for -- "
"I know. You're looking for Rikku." Lulu shifts her weight, crossing her arms in front of her. Gippal'd almost swear she's enjoying this. "She wanted me to tell you that if you show up again without first having bought her an airship of her very own, or at the very least some flowers, she'll test out her new machina on you."
Pause.
"It chops things up," Lulu says, blandly.
Gippal feels almost like holding his hands protectively over his crotch area. "I, um, I haven't -- "
"I wouldn't try to see her then."
With that, the woman turns and sweeps away. It really is sweeping in that long, stunning dress of hers -- and it really is kind of stunning, the cleavage and the fur and, well, all of it. Gippal shifts from foot to foot again, and then reminds himself that he loves Rikku -- chopping machina or no chopping machina.
Flowers, then.
