Bran is walking arm in arm with Jane Drew, both making their way to where Will sits, waiting. The jealousy still gnaws inside him at the sight of her, with her smile and the blue ribbons in her hair and the way Bran looks at her, sharing something, some deep connection from Bran to her that was once his alone. It could eat him from the inside out, this feeling, if he let it. He stands up and waves at them both, smiling when Jane looks up and waves back, grinning when Bran makes a derisive face at him. This is the way it should be, the way it has to be, for Bran's happiness, if not for his.

I ... wow. It would be a lie if I said I completely hated the idea of Bran/Jane (not my favorite, but I don't detest it). The problem with it, though, is what I see here. Will gets shafted even worse than usual. I ... have trouble really seeing Will with anyone other than Bran (though I might revise that when I see some of your Simon/Will).

I really love to hurt Will sometimes, apparently! In my head this one should've resolved into a happy threesome. XD
