Bran doesn't know he's watching. Sometimes, he has to do this; when the loneliness gets a little too much. Sometimes, he has to step back through time to watch a young albino boy out on the hills, watching the sheep and running errands, obeying his father. Going to church, some mornings, his tawny-golden eyes rebellious behind dark glasses. Will knows every aspect of that boy, the strangeness and the waiting beauty, and misses Bran -- grown up, beautiful, loving Bran -- with an ache that even watching this younger Bran will never take away. But still he watches: drawn, captive.
