"Are you okay?"
Will nods grimly, rinsing his mouth out with a last gulp of water and then spitting it out. The taste stays, sickening, not allowing him to forget those moments in the thick of the fight when he'd known what he was doing. Normally, he just does what he has to. But this time... this time he lost his temper. And it was -- it'd been amazing. He'd felt alive, faster, stronger -- but he hates to think about it now, and is glad that mostly the fight is a blur of movement and shouting and whirling his axe around.
Much hesitates for a moment. "I had no idea you could fight like that. You looked... well, I saw men fight like that, in the Holy Land. It was like they lost their minds -- not that I'm saying you went mad or anything, but..."
Will shrugs just a little, running his fingers through his hair and feeling his clothes sticking to him, now, wet with sweat and, in places, with blood that'd splattered thick and hot against him from men he'd hewn down. "Maybe I did," he says, quietly.
Much looks at him for a long moment and then nods. "Maybe you should go and wash. Allan is supposed to be cooking, I think there'll be food ready by the time you're done."
Will nods, starting to walk off. Much takes a deep breath and then speaks again, meeting Will's eyes for a moment when he turns.
"Will? Take your time. But try not to think too much about it."
