Summary: The brothers annoy Aravis. For
over_look.
"Not arguing with Cor today?"
Aravis huffs softly at the expression on Corin's face, so similar to one Cor so often wears. She smoothes her skirt self consciously and lifts her chin, defiant against the pranks of both brothers. "Why should I be? Has he done something that will annoy me again?"
"Everything he does annoys you, Ara," Corin says, affectionately. He reaches up to touch her forehead lightly, laughing at the confused look she gives him. "Just checking your temperature. If you're not mad at Cor, maybe you have a fever."
"Maybe I'll be mad at you, instead," Aravis says, crossing her arms in front of her.
Corin sticks his tongue out. "Maybe tomorrow."
"He never has learned when to run," Cor observes, from somewhere behind Aravis. He offers her a smile when she turns in an indignant swirl of skirts, exchanging a wink with Corin.
"What are you planning?"
"Nothing!" He raises his hands in surrender. "Well, except maybe the rescue of my brother, but my greatest concern right now is wondering whether he's going to fall off the wall and hurt himself."
Aravis glances at Corin and sighs. "Boys!" she says as she sweeps off, to Cor's amused look and Corin's open grin.
"Boys!" Corin mimics.
