From the minute Seifer saw Zell across the crowded square, his heart started hammering. For a minute he just zeroed in on that single presence, unable to think of anything else, rooted to the spot until some impatient shopper shoved past him. Then he told himself to walk away, that Zell would rather punch him in the mouth than kiss him.
His legs didn't obey, though. He found himself shoving through the crowd, not even stopping to apologise, working his way around and across the square to where Zell was standing, watching him.
Zell grinned. Seifer smirked.
"Coming home?"
"If you really want me."
