"One day," Kain says, his eyes up on the sky, "we're both going to be famous warriors."
Kain has always been like that and on the warm summer's day, Cecil is too sleepy and comfortable to really add much to the conversation. He simply moves closer, looking up at the deep blue sky, listening to Kain tell him that they're going to fight for their king and always, always, be friends.
"Right?"
Cecil smiles, sleepily. He doesn't think it likely that there'll ever be anything for them to be famous for. He's thinking mostly of Rosa, who they'll see tonight. "Right," he says.
