Blank asks why he's always helping Zidane, but he knows. As he pushes the medicine into his hand, he smiles a little -- letting Zidane know things haven't changed. Even if Zidane is all enamoured with Garnet right now, a few nights in Zidane's bed still mean something to him.

He'd always thought he'd mind more. Loving someone who doesn't love him back, he means, but he doesn't want to voice that particular thought to himself. Not too loudly in his conscious thoughts, anyway. Besides, Zidane loves everyone, most of the time. It's not entirely unrequited. Blank pretends that's a comfort.
