Calli watched him, when he was there to speak to Barkeep. He barely noticed her, of course, but that didn't matter. Back then, she hadn't concluded that he looks like a chocobo and squawks like one too. Or maybe she had, and that was the attraction.
She still isn't sure if he ever noticed her arrival on the Celsius, never mind her departure. The girls had, of course, and Barkeep, and Buddy'd always had kind words. But not Brother. He was wrapped up in thoughts of Yuna.
Serves him right. He doesn't know what he missed.
The chocobo knights are more fun anyway.
