Nida knows that Squall comes to him because he's convenient. Pushed back, with Garden's tiller digging into his back, and Squall's mouth hot against his, dominating his, he finds he doesn't mind being used. It's not hard to give himself over and know that he's helping lift the Commander's burden, even just a little. And it's not like he doesn't enjoy it. It's not like Squall refuses to do the opposite in return, though he's never offered it either.
It's someone to notice him. Hold him. Press against him, hand in his pants, hand wrapped round his hardening cock. It's Squall, in all his ice and distance, all hot and close up.
That appeals.
They've never taken it to a bedroom, either. It's always up there, where Nida lives most of his life, waiting for any order to move the Garden this way or that.
