There is something between them. Marcus and Blank, Blank and Marcus, almost something, not quite, and soon to be. They care about each other, that much is evident, but do they realise? Do they know how much?
The others think not. Marcus blathers on about brotherhood and Blank thanks his brothers for going to the effort of saving him, but there are the seeds of love in every glance the two share.
Zidane isn't a man of great subtlety when it comes to matters of love. When he visits, he locks them in a closet together and lets matters take care of themselves.
