It's one thing to play fight with Zidane, working out a whole choreography of move and counter-move beforehand and learning it until it becomes second nature. It's quite another thing to fight for real and though Blank has fought for real before, it's still strange to be facing something that isn't working with him.
It takes a moment to slide into that new rhythm. Hack and slash, block and parry, all transformed into a quicker kind of fighting, where you can swing that little bit harder and faster, and you have to block with the same speed to match.
It's almost frightening.
