Celes is warm against Terra's side. It was dark when she closed her eyes; she could barely see Celes' face, and the kisses were clumsy because of it, and everything was done by touch and feel. She might have been asleep, but she doesn't think so: the moment felt too precious to let blur into sleep in that way. Celes' breathing is soft, but she's stirring -- the sunlight suddenly teasing her awake as surely as if someone'd switched on a light.

Terra thought she might regret this. Before, anyway. But she couldn't -- not this, not ever.
