Now it's all over, there's time to appreciate Edward's music properly. Cecil likes that: some vaguely cultured part of him drawn back out in the peace of knowing that they saved the world. He listens to the sound of Edward's harp, and thinks of the battles they won, and the battles they nearly lost, and the time when everything seemed lost and the sound of Edward's harp freed them from helplessness. Edward smiles, while he plays, as if he finds the pieces of himself in the music, and Cecil smiles too, happy, because that finding is far too long overdue.
