Terra has a habit of asking too many questions, now that there's time to stop, think, and ask questions. It's something Celes would discourage if she could, because the questions make her think too hard about where she is and what she's doing. Something in passing makes her stop, and think, and regret, and wonder if she can have the time over.
It's not just the questions. It's the way Terra looks. The way her skin feels under Celes' palm when she reaches up, impulsively, to cup her cheek. The way she pauses, waits a heartbeat, and asks her to stay.
