FFIX: Diversion

Fandom: Final Fantasy IX
Pairing: None
Warnings: None
Rating: G
Summary: Blank, oglops, and the need for a diversion. For [livejournal.com profile] madain_sari.

This thing with the oglops is about the worst job he has to do. Zidane thinks it's awfully funny, of course, but then, he doesn't know about the oglop planted in his bed. He'll feel apologetic soon enough.

Blank isn't, in fact, quite sure what creeps him out so much about the things. They're just unsettling and that, to his mind, is that. It's completely (in his mind) unfair of Baku to give him this job -- and just like him to do so regardless of how Blank feels about the things.

Still, he can be guaranteed to create a big diversion.

I don't know anything about FF9, so I can't comment on that...but!

Here is a little Wakka/Rikku for your birthday.

Wakka/Rikku for EDENBOUND

Even in the bright morning, she always kept her eyes open when they kissed and still he claimed to never have seen the green spirals in them.

Dipping a finger in the Moonflow, she flicks a bit of water at that hair of his reminded her so much a flame, snickering at her private joke and his confused blinking response.

Evening came, and they held the day's sun within them, and smelling sweetly strong like two over-ripe fruits.

Nodding, Rikku thrilled as a little signal passed between them –a language so clever and clandestine not even eagle-eyed Auron noticed the grin that traveled from the thief to the blitzball captain.

Brushing his nose, the dyed chocobo feather made him sneeze and she giggled at the feel of Wakka spit (like sea-spray) upon her bare shoulder.

Only one girl could have ever turned the pious Wakka into a heathen, and his heart knew it wasn't Yunalesca, despite how much his mind wished to blame her.

Underwater, she was always a teensy bit more adventurous but at the sight of his reddened face, she swore she was just kidding and not really suggesting they invite Tidus along next time.

Not that he could really approve of his girlfriend’s profession nor her raiding of Seymour’s well-stocked welcoming room, but he could always approve of Maester-grade pineapples.

Dodging was one thing they were both pretty good at, and when they got down to doing certain things the others would never suspect in places the others would never suspect, she maybe even could thank Yevon for high evasion stats.

Heeee, thank you. ♥

Especially for the giggles at "she maybe even could thank Yevon for high evasion stats". xD
