I like how Kinoc sees the jobs only as duties (and petty ones at that) whereas Auron is sincerely and morally bound by them.
It is also so reflective of Auron as a guardian to Yuna. While he may dole out advice and helps the kids to see things they might not have seen before, he ultimately lets them lead.
