FFX: Power
Fandom: Final Fantasy X
Pairing: Seymour/Yuna
Warnings: None
Rating: G
Summary: She is worthy of everything and capable of nothing. For
nanthimus.
Seymour had had his eye on Yuna for longer than she'd thought. She was pretty, and he'd known that, in a roundabout way, though prettiness really didn't mean much. The important thing was her name, her status, the power she held by being of all people the daughter of High Summoner Braska. He'd only seen her once and he'd known she was perfect for his plans. Yuna. After Yunalesca. Already seriously considering taking up a staff and becoming a summoner. She'd catch at people's hearts while he caught at their minds.
She would have to wait, though. He had business to attend to -- so much business that by the time his thoughts turned to her again, she had set out on a pilgrimage of her own accord, capturing people's attention, hearts, minds and all else, on her way through, because she was beautiful now, and the daughter of High Summoner Braska in every cell of her.
He realises, distantly, now, that even if she hadn't left Besaid of her accord, the plan would have failed. She's a good girl, a fact he forgot to take into account. Worthy of everything -- yes, even his love, that loves only power -- and capable of nothing that fit into his plans.
