It started as a game. It always did, somehow, Gippal bringing out something more childish in Baralai that had never really seen the light of day. It was childish and silly and exhilaratingly fun for him to just push Baralai down into the water and watch him splutter.
"Gippal! I'm all wet, now!"
"Congratulations on your powers of perception," Gippal offered, standing back from the water so Baralai couldn't pull him in too.
Baralai glared for a moment, and then moved.
He kissed Gippal eagerly, almost fiercely, making Gippal grunt with surprise -- and then yelp as Baralai toppled them both into the water.
