Summary: Riku pretends her smiles are just for him.
Riku knows that Kairi loves Sora, too. He likes to pretend not, though, because in his boy's mind that's not fair, and he doesn't like to think of Kairi as anything less than perfect. He fights with Sora more because of it, though, and takes up as much of Kairi's time as he can, holding her hand, entertaining her with stories and scraps of dreams, and she smiles on him as if he is the center of her world, the center of her heart. He'll take that and go and ignore the smiles she gives Sora, and just watch her.
