DS & FFVIII: Steering
Fandom: Due South & Final Fantasy VIII
Pairing: None
Warnings: Crossover
Rating: G
Summary: Irvine and Fraser discuss hats and girlfriends.
"That's a really nice hat, you know."
"Why thank you. It's kind of handy," and Fraser took his hat off and showed Irvine the place in the lining where he kept his money, "better than a wallet."
"The problem with mine is that my girlfriend, Selphie, has a tendency to steal it," Irvine said, ruefully.
Fraser steered his thoughts away from girlfriends and not-quite-girlfriends. "Surely she wouldn't take your money."
"You obviously don't have much experience with women."
Fraser steered his thoughts ever more firmly away from trains. "Not... really."
He was somewhat reminded of Ray in the way Irvine attempted to help him with that.
