Seifer has never let on that he does it. But it's a wonder to watch Zell fight. Squall is pretty when he fights, but Zell -- Zell is something different. He goes best with Quezecotl, Seifer has noticed, and it's a wonder to watch him summon, to watch the wings unfurl in obedience to Zell's will.
Seifer is almost jealous. Even Ifrit doesn't come to his call as quickly, and he knows the guardian holds a kind of grudging liking for him because he bested him easily. Zell is something of a natural and that's -- almost -- beautiful to see.
