The winter holiday was an exercise in staring out of the window at the snow, mostly. That, and in watching Seifer and Squall bicker and fight, and watching Squall cling to and completely monopolize Ellone, and listening to Matron alternately telling stories and scolding someone.
Zell had learnt not to be surprised at anything Seifer did. So when Seifer crawled into his bed, muttering something about being cold, he didn't object. He clutched his teddy tighter and burrowed his face into Seifer's rather chilly shoulder and stared at nothing.
He didn't object when Seifer came back the next night, and the next.
