Jecht isn't exactly derisive, just a little disbelieving. And it's not, Braska reminds himself, that Jecht objects to doing things for someone else's good. The problem is that things for other people's good generally should, in his opinion anyway, help the person doing them.
"Have you ever heard of the proverb; 'one generation plants the trees; another gets the shade'?"
"No, but I think I get it. You're doing this for little Yuna?"
