"Mmm... Ryo?" Dee turned over in bed, reaching for Ryo and frowning when he couldn't find him, sitting up quickly and rubbing his eyes, almost about to put the lamp on. The door closed softly and he heard footsteps come across to the bed. Ryo sounded amused.
"Right here," he said, rolling his eyes and pulling the covers back, slipping back in between them and against Dee. "Needed to go to the bathroom."
"Mm..." Dee snuggled. "Wondered if you'd run off."
"Why would I do that now?" Ryo asked, sounding a little exasperated, but snuggling back with a smile rather warmer than his tone. He dropped a kiss on Dee's shoulder and closed his eyes, intending to get back to sleep as soon as possible. "I'm happy."
Dee smiled a ridiculous smile. "Really?"
"Really."
"Really really?"
"Dee..." Ryo sighed again. "Really really really. Can we go to sleep now?"
Dee ran a hand down Ryo's chest, leaning up to kiss him softly, smiling, teasing. "You sure about all this? No more running away?"
"Absolutely none."
"Promise?"
"Cross my heart and hope to die. Come on, Dee, I need to sleep..."
"Sorry," Dee whispered, and settled down for a minute. Ryo waited. He knew that Dee wouldn't quite be done yet, always with something smart (or extremely foolish) to say, because Dee always had to have the last word and it wouldn't be an apology. Ryo wasn't wrong. "You won't run away even if I say I'm going to tie you up?"
"Horny idiot," he whispered back, and that was all. He didn't bother replying. He just buried his face in Dee's shoulder and closed his eyes, breathing softly and smiling as Dee wrapped an arm around him and they both settled down to sleep.
"G'night."
