Spring brought perhaps one of the happiest times in Edge's life, because Rydia stayed -- until the end of the summer, she promised, smiling -- and he tucked a flower into her hair and made her laugh and tugged her along to see all the places he'd played as a kid.
And then there was just the way they would argue, meaningless and just for fun. And then there was the time -- terribly sweet and over too quick -- on the warmest day of the spring when they kissed and did more than kiss and lay all tangled together afterwards.
