Chocobos make him nervous. Not that it isn't a mutual thing -- the clanking of his armour usually scares off any self respecting bird, let alone something as flighty and smart as a chocobo. He's only ever seen chocobos a few times -- and then he's kept well away from them. Just overgrown chickens, really, except they seem to see his thoughts and take them to heart, and hate him for it. And seem to think of him, equally disparagingly, as a large, walking tin can, and dismiss him accordingly. They make him feel entirely too uncomfortable. Damned intelligent birds.
