The Viera is both hard to get used to and strangely familiar. Ritz runs a hand through her hair -- red, and not white, and with no dye! -- and tries not to seem particularly bothered.
Part of it might be that she wants to impress Shara. Maybe. Shara is strong and clever and a good friend to someone who couldn't even take care of herself at first, so why shouldn't she want to impress her?
But it's not just that.
"Do you think I'll have to go home soon?"
"Not if you don't want to."
Shara's hug is surprising, but... pleasing.

I'm so happy to see someone writing FFTA fanfics that I could die xDD
And well, I decided to comment in this one, because... it's Shara/Ritz and that sole fact makes me go into fangirl mode.
I really wanted to see more of them in the game (sadly there wasn't enough) and this drabble really sums up the way their relationship works.
